These two aerial photos were taken by two different passengers while flying with me in a Cessna 172 over Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch at the base of Figueroa Mountain in Los Olivos (Santa Barbara County), California exactly one year apart. The photos show a before and after look at the dismanteling of the amusments there. Click the photos for additional information.

A few months back I stopped by DAWG (Dog Adoption Welfare Group) in Santa Barbara to look for a dog to adopt. This female Beagle was found, presumably abandoned and pregnant on the beach with a puppy. After weaning her the litter of nine born nine weeks ago she came to live with us yesterday! As of this morning, however, she doesn’t have a name. Suggestions? more photos …
Update (6/24/2009): Thank-you to everyone who commented to suggest a name. We have decided to go with “Bella.”
