Any chance you could tell me the conditions at the end of Las Canoas Lane? My wife’s family home (since sold off, but still close to her heart) was Weldwold, last house on the right at the end of the land. There is a newer house near the road, hers was in the back near the lip of the canyon. I see the fire burned through there but we’ve not been able to find out the status of the house.
Her great-grandfather used to be the rector of a local Episcopal church and she has many fond memories of Santa Barbara. Her grandmother’s name was Dorothy Coxe, I think her father was Daniel, FYIW.
