Rhythms of Brazil shares the art of Capoeira - Apr 13, 2010

The UC Santa Barbara campus group Rhythms of Brazil, led by Mariano Silva, practices the centuries old Afro-Brazilian tradition of Capoeira.  It combines elements of martial arts, music, and dance.   Capoeiristas Rafael Hernandez and Vika Hernandez were in Studio A this morning to share their love for the practice and to play a live set of traditional Capoeira music.  For more information on becoming involved with the group call 805-259-7874.
